The primary audience of the Brain Gear app is Queensland University of Technology (QUT) IFB101 Impact of IT students. The app is a platform to provide students with short targeted videos of the theories, technologies and case companies delivered as part of IFB101’s teaching and learning strategy.
The Brain Gear app is used as part of IFB101s teaching delivery strategy. The app provides a platform promoting 200% learning content. This provide QUT students with a range of information that will be relevant to students from thirty different degrees, across five faculties with. IFB101 - Impact of IT is a unit that provides students with a broad spectrum of Information Technology and its impact on individuals, business and society.
A range of aspects of IT from several different viewpoints are designed to encourage students to find where their passions may lie within Information Technology and Information Systems. The Brain Gear app provides a digital transformation to traditional forms of teaching and learning.
